October is National Orthodontic Health Month!

It's incredibly important that all children are seen by an orthodontist by age seven for an initial evaluation. This consultation establishes a baseline for their orthodontic health, and allows the orthodontist to note whether there are any developmental issues in the child's mouth which should be monitored. The earlier a child is seen, the easier it will be to take care of small problems before they become much more difficult and time consuming to treat. Early treatment is the key to good orthodontic health!
