"We've done food drives for the Salvation Army the past four Thanksgivings," said Norman-Kotre. "We started doing it just as a way to show thanks, thankfulness to the community because we're part of the community."
Norman-Kotre felt that Thanksgiving would be a great time to help the Salvation Army because it's a rough time of year. And in light of the struggling economy, she understands that a lot of people in the area may not be able to provide holiday food for their families.
