How to Find a Dentist

We are lucky to receive many referrals from our patient family, and are honored that they trust our practice to deliver personal service, with professional results. In fact, many of our patients have been with us as long as two decades, going back to when Dr. Carol Haggerty first opened the practice in 1993. We’ve seen babies become college students, and teens become adults, married with children.

It’s not always easy to find a dentist that is the right fit for you and your family. We believe we offer the best combination of genuine care and effective treatment. We not only know our patients by name, but also their children and even grandchildren — whether they’re seen at our office, or not. We’ve been invited to the weddings, showers, and birthday celebrations of our patients and their families.

Deciding to make an appointment with a new dentist for a dental check up, or any other procedure, requires that you put your faith and trust in that individual and their staff to help you make the right decisions about your dental health. It’s a choice that can affect more than just your teeth. The right dentist can help preserve the integrity of your overall health as well. Studies have shown that poor oral health can potentially lead to problems including coronary artery disease, diabetes, obesity, and even problems during pregnancy.

In our opinion, a quality dental practice will always offer the following things:

– A free initial consultation for new patients – Free consultations and second opinions for existing patients concerning new treatments or procedures – A friendly, flexible front-office staff who is willing to work with you to explain your insurance benefits and to schedule appointments that work with your busy schedule – The will and ability to explain, in detail, any work they believe to be necessary to maintain your dental health – The treatment of children with the respect they deserve as individuals, who often require extra sensitivity when it comes to their dental care – The desire to spend time and effort establishing and nurturing a personal relationship with their patients

At the Ann Arbor dental practice of Dr. Shannon Norman-Kotre, we believe we offer all of the above, and more. Don’t believe us? Feel free to take a look at our perfect Google reviews. We are always accepting new patients, and look forward to not only treating you for your dental health concerns, but also treating you like a member of our own families.
