A blingy Ben? Say it isn’t so!

The 40-year-old actor flashed a golden grin while having lunch in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood on Tuesday.

We’re not sure if this dental addition — two gold caps, placed on a top molar and a lower bicuspid — is the result of medical necessity or a new movie role.

This isn’t Ben’s first encounter with the dentist’s chair during his stint in Tinseltown. For his role in “Armageddon” it was rumored that director Michael Bay asked Affleck to see a cosmetic dentist to perfect his pearly whites. We’ll never know what prompted the change for sure, but one thing is for certain — his new smile is definitely nicer. Even with the strangely-out-of-character gold caps.

Grills n’ Grins

Teeth “grillz” are apparently making yet another fashion comeback, and we’re seeing them everywhere.

Rihanna showed off a pricey-looking, diamond-encrusted grill in London this week.

Justin Bieber is another celebrity who has jumped on the grill bandwagon. While slightly more…ahem…understated?…than Rihanna’s above, it still appears to be bright enough to potentially be viewed while traveling in outer space.

As if Justin’s grill wasn’t surprising enough, the fact that former teen sweetheart Miley Cyrus has started wearing one may just take the cake. Even if her grill could almost be called “subtle” in comparison to the others on this page, I’m not sure that daddy Billy Ray is exactly proud of his daughter’s latest fashion statement.
