Celebrity Teeth

Did you know?

Kristin Wiig recently left Saturday Night Live and a huge bash was thrown in her honor after her final episode. Some of the famous guests in attendance included Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl, along with Amy Poehler, Mick Jagger, Jon Hamm, and Jason Sudeikis. A great time was said to have been had by all, but unfortunately, Kristin herself did not get out of her own party unscathed.

According to a report in USA Today, when Wiig woke up the morning after her party, she felt something “hard and small” in her mouth, only to realize she’d accidentally chipped her front tooth! Oops. Hopefully she’s found time in her busy schedule to get that fixed before she goes on to super stardom.

Did you know?

Vanessa Paradis, French singer and former long-time love of Johnny Depp, may not show her pearly whites often to photographers due to her famously gap-toothed smile. But she recently stated that she’d never consider getting them fixed. “Why would I fix them? I was born with them,” she says in a recent interview with Harpers Bazaar. “I can spit water through them. They’re useful!”

In France, teeth like Vanessa’s are known as “les dents du Bonheur”, or “lucky teeth”, according to Harpers.

It looks like cosmetic dentists in France may have a harder time making ends meet than those in the United States if that’s true!

Even powerful, world-famous politicians have embarrassing dental moments!

Former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, spoke recently at the Republican National Convention. And rather than noting what she had to say in her speech, the world of social media lit up with news of the lipstick stains she had on her teeth!

“I don’t care what their beliefs are I will always feel completely awful for any woman who has lipstick on their teeth in public. #Condi #RNC,” wrote one viewer.

Added another: “Poor Condoleezza Rice…. No one told her she has lipstick on her teeth #makeupfail #RNC

“Condoleeza Rice is speaking passionately & eloquently but I am completely distracted by the lipstick on her teeth”–@rachelnoerd

Yikes!

If only she’d just Googled how to avoid lipstick teeth in the first place.
